Detailed Description

Thread-safe in-memory Layer-2 Ethernet switch for PROFINET simulation.

The transport deliberately knows only Ethernet source and destination MAC addresses. EtherTypes, VLAN tags, PROFINET RTC1 frames, RTA frames and any future protocol extensions remain opaque bytes to the switch.
