Detailed Description

Google Mock implementation of the IRPCCon PROFINET RPC connection interface.

Provides a mock implementation of the IRPCCon interface for unit testing higher-level PROFINET components without requiring a live PROFINET IO-Device or RPC transport. All RPC operations exposed by IRPCCon are implemented using Google Mock, allowing tests to configure return values, exceptions, and expectations for connection management, record read/write operations, I&M access, diagnosis, topology discovery, and cyclic communication control operations.

The mock is intended primarily for testing components such as ProfinetDevice. It isolates device-level logic from the concrete RPCCon implementation and allows tests to verify delegation, argument mapping, connection state handling, error propagation, and protocol-specific behaviour independently of the underlying transport.

Note

MockRPCCon does not implement any actual PROFINET RPC functionality. It is intended exclusively for use in unit tests.
